After meeting the “right person”, here is the second crucial moment : the date.

It is also the second difficult part, because everything will have to be in finesse and elegance.

Umbert is very cultured, and very attentive to others.

He knows how to advise his friends on topics for a date.

He likes to help his foreign friends when they meet a French woman. They have the reputation of being the most difficult to conquer … yes if you don’t know what to say !

Here are Umbert’s tips :

  • 1 What you can say

1 Before the appointment, you can think of a few topics. A man who does not know what to say will have no chance to please.

2 Turn off your phone !

3 Look her eyes to talk.

4 Above all, do not deal with the difficulties of your life (breaks, illness, loss of work, difficult children …).

5 Do not talk about all your life, or do it briefly, without starting from childhood. Only mention happy and positive moments.

6 Do not complain about everything (climate, cost of living, car breakdown, noisy neighbors, etc …). It will be very appreciated by a French woman.

7 Do not flood the conversation of stories about your work, and especially with technical terms. Some funny anecdotes will be much more appreciated.

8 No vulgarity, rude words, petty humor …

9 Be funny, but never vulgar. Making a woman laugh is the first step towards conquest.

10 Do not show off with your culture, especially if your guest is not an intellectual.

11 Do not show off with your money, car, house as well. Make yourself appreciate for yourself, it’s important for the future.

12 Unveil yourself, but not too much. Mysterious people always create curiosity in others, and always attract …

  • 2 What you have to listen

1 Listen. Women love being listened to.

2 Ask her about her tastes, her life. (be careful, not on the intimate things).

3 Be attentive so she feels confident.

4 If she speaks about her problems, listen, advise, but at least you will not have started. Give her always right … only for the first date of course !

5 Do not let the silence settle. It’s a disaster. Know how to re-engage the conversation with simple topics : news, travel. Be careful : no politics or religion ! No subject that make people arguing strongly.

6 Accept her opinions and speak calmly.

7 Of course : no drama, neither positive nor negative.

You are open, balanced, attentive, confident, cheerful …. !! Then everything will be fine.

If all went well, ask for another date more original … You will find a good idea … !
